Was up on the bay with my 7 month pregnant wife. We got up there Sat for the openner and we kept getting rips and missed a bunch of fish. After several big drum and some monster walleyes, including a 30incher we boated our first ski a 36" around 2pm. A few hours later a huge rip that I thought was a snag, while trying to hold the spool causing a burn on my thumb I saw a fish surface and realized we had another musky and handed the rod to Kathy. She boated a 47" although made me hold it for the pic.

Sunday lost a high 40's fish first thing in the morning. Apparently that was the only musky action for the day! Boated a bunch of drum, walleye and 4 cats 2 over 15 lbs. Pretty crazy to be catching fish like that on musky baits.
Monday we decided to sleep in after Sundays disappointment. Didn't get on the water till about 9:30. Started off boating a few drum and a walleye. Before we had the big rip. It was the furthest board rod. I can see her on the surface, knew it wasn't another drum! Kathy took the rod, next thing I know I was struggling to get this monster in the net. It didn't fit in my frabill big game. After a couple attempts it finally fell in and thats when I realized how big it actually was. She ended up going 53x 23.5. Kathys new personal best! This one will be tough to beat. Kathys got the bear hug on it but was scared to hold it.

Heres a pic of me holding it and a nice release pic!

Hopefully everyone else had a good weekend as well
