They have a jointed wire harness inside so body can bend, and they have a painted pattern which is covered with a clear coating. they look nice.

they also went to a better plastic so they wont fall apart before even getting a fish. or after one fish.....bill

to add to the jointed wire harness the head section is strait one peice wire while the second section is the original seven strand wire

The second half is a single strand of wire too. it is the joint in the middle that makes it seem like the second half is seven strand. At least thats how it is on the few I have.

The only thing I worry about is, the rubber or the coating has a distinct heavy chemical odor. Those who used them last season said it didn't matter but I couldn't help but notice it since the 20 I bought sat in my truck overnight and it took 3 days to air the turpentine odor out.

I better get my knew pro dawg in the garage than I don't want my house to smell. On a side note they look like thay might hold up now.
