Raingear

Its a little off the subject, but, Im looking to get some new raingear. Always took the cheap way out instead of spending the 400 or 500$ on the good shit. Cabellas guideware? Bass Pro 100mph gear? I dont know. Lots of options. What do you like best? $500 is alot of cake these days.

I also like a rain proof cap rather than a hood. Cabelas makes a goretex one that is very comfortable and keeps your head dry, but isn't as cumbersome or hot as wearing a hood.; ▶ Reply to This

I got a real good deal on the Jacket. Someone returned a color only available by catalog to the store, so since they didn't carry that color in the store, it went right to the bargain cave. Think I got at least 35-40% off...maybe more??? It was a good deal.; ▶ Reply to This

Gander no longer carries these... all they have is their "H2O" (the new version) which happens to SUCK real real realllll bad... wouldnt recommend it at all.

I have both and perfer the Cabelas over the BPS, One reason being if you have to hit the head you do not have easy access with the 100mph suit from BPS you have to take it off.; ▶ Reply to This
