My number one goal is to film our River Fishing video. Going to hit up rivers like the Fox, Illinois, Wisconsin, hopefully the Ottawa River area, and a few others. I got a TON of info. to share that I have never seen anyone talk or write about.
Well actually, my number one goal is to be able to get out and fish more this year than I did last. Time on the water was down drastically. Luckily we were able to boat fish nearly everytime we went out (30"rs count too! haha)
My goal this year is to learn how to fish specific situations more effectively. I have a boat full of lures that I usually just clip on and throw and I have no idea if that's even the lure I should be fishing given the weather, time of year, etc. Instead of buying new lures, I'm going to maybe spend some money to hire a guide.
I'd like to catch more fish which if I accomplish my first task, I should be able to do this.
Fish every lake in the Titt Chain
Fish the Cisco chain
Catch a muskie on a fly rod on a hand tied fly
By the way, I am interested in this river fishing video Brandyn. It's an awesome idea!
I have two good musky buddies who are hard core but have yet to break the 50" barrier. I would like to be the net man/photographer for them when that happens, hopefully this year.
Also, I would like to see my wife catch her first musky, if I can get her to go musky fishing instead of walleye fishing.
For myself, I would like to catch a tiger and a musky that is over 54".
Darcy, those are just goals. May as well set expectations high! 40 pounders are a reality and we nearly hit 50 last year. If any place can do it, it's Georgian Bay.

Wow Johnny... I wish LOTW could throw numbers like that! You're definitely in the right neighborhood!
No doubt! Even for them to be goals is great...means it's in reach! I cracked one on LOTW 3 years ago that was approaching the 50lb mark. Said to be the biggest fish A LOT of people have seen come from those parts in a really long time though. My goals in pounds would be -10lbs... 4 over 30lbs and 1 over 40 would be great!
