- My first muskie. Sat around for years while my younger cousins, family freinds, and other relatives all had caught this elusive fish. Took leave and flew in from Califonia for the annual Nothern Wisconsin fishing trip. Was out with my father and about to give up for the day when I hit my first muskie on a mep's 5. Probably one of the my favorite memories period.

- CONGRATS man you guys tore it up!! Thanks for sharing some of your local wisdom with an out of towner, I did not have much luck but it's only my 2nd time down to Kinkaid. I hope to be back more often definitley! Hope to see you again on the IMTT trail and good luck on Kinkaid the rest of this year!

- Hey Chris, just got back from an antelope hunt in South Dakota. I AM MORE THAN READT TO FISH KINKAID! How about next weekend - either Saturday or Sunday? (10th or 11th of October)?
I also had a bit of time one day to fish for walleye out there. Had a bit of luck at that as well.............Scott

I havent checked my muskylink page in a while and just saw you responded....from about a month and a half ago. Anyways I am down here at SIU and my boat is in the water at Kinkaid. I have done some exploring, and fished a little for musky...to no avail. I have got a few nice bass but really am looking forward to the water temps cooling down. And I hear you about patterning fish by yourself...I have been thinking the same thing. Anyways we should get out try and hook some skis

Just got back from Korea. A long month!! But the weather here is really starting to cool off. I am starting to get the itch to go after a hog. How are your classes going this semester? Any time in your busy week to get a line wet? Let me know if it's my boat or yours!!
