I come from the river systems of P.A. I was a river rat most of my life being as close to the water as you could be growing up ,the floods took my fathers home 3 times .I have over the years fought tooth and nail to educate anglers to catch and release these fish in the P.A regions. I knew I had to reach more and I did just that ,with the help from the foxtv network. I have provided North Eastern P.A with 1 to 2 shows a year on mostly top water river muskies in P.A. on The Great Outdoors on fox56 network Tv .Though primarily top water action I hope I helped draw anglers interest in the sport in respectfully conserving the spieces. The kill mantality of anglers in the P.A. regions have continued to droped drasticlly . I have done seminars for the Fox Networks Riverfront sports expo in P.A. Providing my knowlege and tactic and relating to anglers of all spiecies . I am former Pro Staffer for ROI Bucher tackle company and worked with many more including Frabill, Esox Rods and a number of tackle companies. There is one thing I enjoy most though is musky fishing and any thing that goes with it.I continue seminars, and I love helping educating people and watching them be successful in this growing sport.

Hey what's goin on Herb? I'm from the South Hills area of the city, and work in town. I fish most of the lakes north of the city, along with some of the rivers as well. Thanks for the compliments on the baits, I'm sure we'll run into each other soon! Take care, and good luck with the business!!
thanks herb. i hope your right! all i can do is just go fishing and see if they are hungry. by the way congrats on getting your business, and good luck! ill def have to bring the gf one weekend up for dinner.
Herb, I use a quick strike rig of my own. I use a baiting needle and thread a small rubber band through the the back in front of the dorsal fin an another near the tail. Both are attached to two treble hooks, in which the rear treble hook slides on a clevis. It holds the baits horizontal and when the musky hits the bait the hook set can be instant. No delays! That is the key. Too many times I see guys waiting and waiting to set the hook 3-5 minutes after the strike on their tip up. Probably an upwards of 75% of those guys cut the leader and release the fish. I'm not a biologist or fish expert but it doesn't take a degree to know that there is a huge chance that those fish will not be able to feed as a result of the treble hook being below the epiglottis and then die. With the quick strike rig I use there is no delay and the hooks stay outward in the mouth of the musky.
