Had he harvested the fish it would have been weighed for what it was. A giant mid 50 pound fish. But certainly not record class or anywhere near a 33" girth. I'm glad he released it, that was very impressive. The aftermath however...
Gotta go with Hughes Rivers'. Unmatched action, paint and durability. Hellhounds are decent for a plastic bait, but I find the plastic gliders always have a more mechanical action than wood. Definitely one of the most fun baits to cast and work.
