Four 40 pounders and a 50...

Hey guys,
Very simplistic and amazingly accurate. All you need is a 100 lb Chatillon scale (which can be certified pre or post catch) and your landing net. Once you've got the fish in the net and the hooks removed, you'll use the hook of the scale…
For those blessed enough to have boated a fish 55 inches or better. Add photo's too.
Wow. Your paint and finish looks awesome.
Had he harvested the fish it would have been weighed for what it was. A giant mid 50 pound fish. But certainly not record class or anywhere near a 33" girth. I'm glad he released it, that was very impressive. The aftermath however...
Gotta go with Hughes Rivers'. Unmatched action, paint and durability. Hellhounds are decent for a plastic bait, but I find the plastic gliders always have a more mechanical action than wood. Definitely one of the most fun baits to cast and work.
