I will try and make it with a buch of baits. If it snows I will be in my truck pushing the white money. I hope to see all my muskie brothers and sisters at the shows this off season.
Off season?
Who am I kidding, I am still catching ski's.
Extende…
I am 47 years young, marryed (Debbie) with two kids (Krystina and Mike). I have lived on Pewaukee Lake all my life and have fished ever since I can remember.
Please feel free to check out my personal website for more info on what I am all about.
It would have to be catching a 53 x 26.5 inch October full moon fattie with a broke reel seat. While fighting this 40 lb fish the reel seat broke and I had to hold the reel down and reel in the fish at the same time. Crazy deal but a huge fish. Two days later I got a 57 x 27 that was just a monster. Released them both to grow up.
Favorite Waters:
Pewaukee Lake, Mille Lac's and the monster fish waters out East.
Favorite Style of Fishing:
Casting I love but trolling racks up the fish.
Favorite Lures:
Suicks
Tournaments:
PMTT, WMT, IMTT, and plenty of others.

Ryan, I am deer hunting more than fishing but some very nice mid 40's were iced when we set up for walleyes early. I didn't target muskie at all this December. Plowing snow, regular job, deer hunting and some walleye fishing was my December. The lure of a huge buck has still got me hunting. Passed up over 30 different bucks this season. Still looking for that booner but a 150 class will do today.
Crazy I didn't take advantage of the December muskie month more. Easy pickings if one was to target them. Maybe next year. Bet one could score big time if they targeted them through the ice. Lots of 37 to 45's to be had. Going out hunting at 1pm...............
Hey mike, how many ski's did you get through the ice? I wish i could have went out to pewaukee, would have been awesome to hand line a slob on a tip-up!
Hopefully not much longer but our weather out west has been crazy..even had snow yesterday and now we have rain and wind for the next 10 days, cabin fever has ran its coarse(lol)
Yack at you later
Kevin
I am still just on the guide program with Loomis...not gotten in all the way yet. I still push their rods whenever I can...they are worth it. I got a chance to see their new line at the Chicago show. They are sweet. The rep there told me that guides/pro staffers won't be able to get there hands on them until mid year after all the retailers are taken care of.
