Profile Information

Real Name:
Hans Mann, Marc Arena, & Josh Ketry
About:
We started off as a small hobby that made baits for our own personal use in our two-car garage.

What happened was - we were using big tubes on our local waters (made by a large company called Lindy) and they worked so well and were getting chewed up so fast that we couldn't get them fast enough to fill our needs, and eventually we bought them all out of all of the online and local fishing shops we could find them in.

Out of desperation, we learned how to make our own tubes - only we made them to our own specifications - bigger, stronger, and in a much wider variety of colors. Pretty soon our friends began asking us for some of our tubes and then their friends did as well....then we kept growing and growing trying to keep up with the demand...

We are very grateful that people are enjoying our handmade baits and having as much success with them as we have had. This past season our baits were even featured several times on ESPN, Versus, and other fishing DVDs including Gregg Thomas and Pete Mania.

We make all our baits by hand now in a shop on Seneca Street in Buffalo and we try our best to support the local economy by using as many other American companies as possible to support our own.

If you use our products we thank you and hope to see you having success out on the water!

Be nice to the ladies!

Hey guys! Just saw your page for the first time. Its awesome! I really like what you say about your products and the story behind Red October baits. My sister and I just started MUSKY PSYCHO tackle. We do Livebait systems and are about to start with other apparel. Your story is inspiring to us. Right now we make all the rigs and leaders at the kitchen table. Its awesome to see what can come out of comitment and confidence in a great product. I love your baits and cant wait to throw em this fall. Thanks.

Hey I use your baits all the time. I have my hubby buy them every year, at the Harper show. Musky "D"

Josh,

Got your baits today. They look great! Just need open water now... And thanks for the extra goody. Much appreciated (though not necessary since our year-round open season is currently closed thanks to that stuff hockey's played on...).
