Most retailers won't carry the Kahuna as it's not a really popular model in some locations. I love mine and won't go without it. It is the largest model Frabill makes. Literally an in the water livewell. Give Thorne Bros a call @ 763-572-3782.
The Dude and I were a little over an hour away when we got the call from Steve! Couldn't get there fast enough. Steve has put many people on their First and Largest over Fiddy, The Nukka's Money!
Waaaaaay too many to choose just one. Fish with kids will comprise most of the top 10 and others in the boat would make up the rest. The Heaviest and the longest will stand out for sure. Emblazoned in my mind.
Favorite Waters:
Those with fish in 'em. Even if it means sitting on a creek bank with string on a Willow branch and a small piece of red thread catching chubs. Good times.
Favorite Style of Fishing:
Casting under the cover of darkness!
Favorite Lures:
Blades, be they inline or of the Spinnerbait variety.
Rhinelander has a lot of great Muskie lakes in the area! I like the summer bite there !
I have seen if a cold front is going thru, N.E. winds, rough water....and wind changes
like to West the next day, big Muskies turn on. I have a place that I stay up there but,
it is not fancy. Wow, am I ready for topwater bite this year. I made some varations of my
older Perch BTR WND MNS. I invented a way to have more strength in rotating tail (but to not lose any action) in lure.
Hey Steve,
PLEASE tell me you've at least been Muskie fish'n a little this season at Rhinelander?!?! How do you like living there? Any nice girls in the area? hmmmm..haaahhh...? I'll bet you missed being at Operation Muskie this year. Sounds like all had a great time, dispite the tough weather conditions. Oh well, maybe you'll be able to attend next year. Take care & keep plug'n!
