anytime I'm out with Friends is a good memory , but one day was the the best with my Friend Kari on the Fox Chain , we had 4 Ski's that day and took some photos of of a fantastic sunrise and then a awesome sunset that won a photo contest.
I forget the exact size I ordered last time but I think it's the finest nozzle. I reduce my paint a fair bit and lower the pressure right down when detailing. I also keep the crown cap off so I can pick at the needle if it clogs.
Auto Air transparents spray really nicely but the semi-opaques need more reduction and higher air pressure to atomize well.
Is the part you broke the tiny nozzle by any chance? It's the easiest to damage as the threads are so small.
If you want to send it to me I'll examine it free of charge and see what I can find out for you. If parts are required I'll let you know and we can take it from there.
Chances are that if you did damage the nozzle then a new matching head assembly would be required. The Microns come with a matched set that is precisely fitted and can't be purchased individually.
When I do take my airbrushes fully apart I am ultra careful with removing that smallest piece of the head assembly.
The most common damage is ovalizing the nozzle from inserting the needle a little to forcefully or if the needle was bent and it stretched out the nozzle. It needs to be perfectly seated to ensure proper spray pattern.
Let me know if you want me to take a look at it and include any specific info on what you see happening when you spray.
What specifically is going on with your Micron airbrush? I may be able to help you troubleshoot it as I'm pretty experienced with them myself. If you do need to send it in for repair I can give you the info.
