I found some new spots (new to me) that i'll be trying this year.
get my first fox river, illinois muskie!
A group for those who stalk the banks of rivers in search of the all mighty musky. Paddle, wade, or however you fish for them, river musky are a different animal all together.
Ha lookes like you got a trick on holding them to make them look huge. nice fish, lol whats the trick
my main rig is st. croix 8 ft premier with abu 60 record and power handle
also have 6'9" Xtraheavey shimano compre with 6500 c3.
then some randoms
7 foot gander muskie rod with gander 66 reel
7'6 mh gander muskie with 5500 c3
then a 6'6" gander…

- dangling a daredevil over the side of the boat saying "here fishy, fishy" when out of no where a pike hit it and i caught it, coolest thing besides catching a muskie
first follow- i had heard so many stories about muskie and decided to try to catch one on a family vacation when we went to a lake that had muskie in it. I had no idea that they follow or anything and on a cast a huge musky appeared at the side of the boat. i was frozen for about 10 seconds and was hooked from there
